SouthComm Inc., the parent of BusinessTN and other regional niche publications, announced today that Brooke Lovelace has been named publisher of the six-year-old statewide business magazine.

"We are delighted that Brooke Lovelace is joining SouthComm in this important role," SouthComm CEO Chris Ferrell said. "Brooke will give the business leadership to this magazine that will enable us to continue to provide business leaders across the state with the kind of news and business intelligence they need."

Lovelace previously held the director of sales and marketing role at Leading Edge Communications, a mid-sized publisher and marketing firm based in Franklin. Before moving to Tennessee, Lovelace worked as a group sales manager for News America Marketing, a News Corporation Company in Atlanta, where she managed the Southeast Trade Marketing division and was ultimately responsible for retail contract negotiations and co-marketing account growth. Lovelace grew up in Pensacola and attended the University of Florida School of Journalism and Communications, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Communications.

BusinessTN is a controlled-circulation magazine distributed to nearly 25,000 senior-level business, political and civic leaders across the state.
