Tennessee's Best 150 Lawyers 2008
January 2008
Our annual list of editorially vetted excellence in the legal profession
Anyone who has followed the high-stakes murder trial of preacher's wife Mary Winkler, the obstruction of justice travails of prominent Tennessee entrepreneur Al Ganier, or the nationally publicized divorce of public policy professor Constance Gee from the former Vanderbilt University chancellor, can appreciate the importance of having the best lawyers available in times of legal crisis. Each year, scores of new barristers arrive at Tennessee law firms, which makes the task of sifting through them all the more challenging. While we encourage all of our readers to stay out of trouble, for those who just can't avoid it, here's a list that may help.
